My little girl, C actually started to read even before she turned 3. I think one of the main reason that she started reading so early was because I read to her a lot, and I really mean A LOT! Even when she was just a few months old, we read at least 10-20 books a day. When I was pregnant, I used to scour everywhere for affordable books. I love Marshalls & TJ Maxx. They have really good books at a great price.

Anyway, back to my point, besides reading to her, I also exposed her to the computer right after she turned one. My favorite website is www.starfall.com. She loved that website and I think that this website was a useful tool for her to start reading. Starfall made learning ABCs fun and at their age, it’s all about fun. When they have fun, they learn much faster like my little girl did.
